Chris Christie gives a thumbs up to federal investigators grilling Ivanka and Jared: ' You can’t say they’re off limits'

On Thursday, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) told CNN's Chris Cuomo that President Donald Trump's children who work in the White House are not beyond scrutiny because of the position they hold.

TheNew York Times dropped a bombshell report that revealed Trump ordered former Chief of Staff John Kelly gave his his son-in-law Jared Kushner top-secret security clearance despite concerns by intelligence officials.

Cuomo asked if the White House was at "war" with people going after Trump's kids.

"I don't. But here's what I would say. The president placed his daughter and his son-in-law into official positions in the White House. Not as informal advisers but as official job holders in the White House. You can't say they're off limits now," Christie said.

"I told the president this, [Congress] is not going to stop at anything," he said.

"I think Michael Cohen had a list that the House now has to give serious thought to. There's going to be a big fight. The fight that's going to happen between Congress and the Southern District of New York because Congress had a big show yesterday. They're going to want more. They're going to want the president's children," he said.
