The MAGA-verse is outraged after a federal judge blocked the Trump administration from revoking Harvard University's ability to enroll foreign students.
U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs called the order a "blatant violation" of the U.S. Constitution Friday afternoon. The ruling came just hours after Harvard filed their complaint in Boston federal court.
Assistant News Director of Florida’s Voice, Eric Daugherty, posted on X, “JUST IN: In a VERY short amount of time, activist Judge Allison Burroughs in Massachusetts blocks the Trump administration from banning Harvard from enrolling international students. She is an Obama appointee. This lawsuit was filed just a couple hours ago. INSANITY.”
Donna Davis replied to Daughtery, saying, “These lawfare Dems have direct lines to certain judges, don’t they? The speed with which they get these blocks.”
Attached to her post Davis had a photo of “South Park” character Eric Cartman dressed in a robe and holding a gavel with the title district court underneath him, saying “Mr. President, respect MA AUTHORITHA!” Which is reference to one of Cartman’s catch phrases on the show.
Johnny St.Pete told his more than 35,000 followers, "OBAMA Judge Blocks Trump from revoking Harvard enrollment of foreign citizens. I called this yesterday. This is the same judge that blocked trumps Travel ban order. She’s from Massachusetts and her dad went to Harvard. U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs, an appointee of Democratic President Barack Obama, issued the temporary restraining order freezing the policy.”
@amuse told their 600,000 followers, "LAWFARE: Another Obama judge has decided to replace Secretary Noem and is ordering the Trump administration to provide student visas to Harvard students. Judge Allison D. Burroughs granted Harvard's request barring Trump from revoking the university’s student exchange certification.”
Conservative commentator Oli London summed up the complaint saying, “Harvard has taken legal action against the Trump administration, challenging its prohibition on international student enrollment. The Trump Administration revoked the University’s program allowing foreign students, after the university refused to comply with multiple requests from DHS regarding antisemitism on campus. In a complaint filed in Boston federal court, Harvard called the revocation a 'blatant violation' of the U.S. Constitution and other federal laws, and had an 'immediate and devastating effect' on the university and more than 7,000 visa holders."
