NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick on Tuesday posted footage taken from the Dragon Endeavour spacecraft showing Hurricane Milton as it barreled toward the Florida coast.
Writing on Twitter, Dominick explained how he got the opportunity to capture an orbital view of the hurricane.
"We flew over Hurricane Milton about 90 minutes ago," he wrote. "Here is the view out the Dragon Endeavour window. Expect lots of images from this window as this is where I’m sleeping while we wait to undock and return to Earth."
Shortly after this post, he uploaded a two-hour timelapse video of the storm.
