Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani insisted on Wednesday that alcoholism did not impact his significant accomplishments.
During a press conference in New Hampshire, Giuliani responded to a New York Times report suggesting prosecutors wonder if former President Donald Trump ignored obvious inebriation when taking the former mayor's legal advice.

"I do not have an alcohol problem. I have never had an alcohol problem," Giuliani stated, according to Politico. "[If] I have an alcohol problem, I should be in the Guinness Book of World Records."
Giuliani cited his accomplishments and job history.
But those who have known Giuliani for decades say otherwise.

"It's no secret, nor do I do him any favors if I don't mention that problem, because he has it," former New York City Council President Andrew Stein told the Times. "It's actually one of the saddest things I can think about in politics."
