Jamie Kilstein: Tea party thinks 'facts are for gay people'

Comedian Jamie Kilstein, co-host of Citizen Radio, appeared Tuesday night on Countdown with Keith Olbermann -- guest hosted by David Shuster -- to discuss the misinformation from tea party favorites Congressman Michele Bachmann (R-MN), South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and others.

Bachmann recently said that an HPV vaccine could cause mental retardation, a statement she was later forced to recant. Haley recently said that half of the people wanting work at the Energy Department's Savannah River Site failed drug tests, but ">the Department of Energy denied the claim, noting that only hired employees were tested and only 1 percent failed.

"I think that facts are for gay people and socialists, and numbers and charts are scary and intimidating" for tea partiers, Kilstein joked.
