Jimmy Kimmel's hilarious vice presidential campaign ad shows he's already more qualified than Trump

If Donald Trump can secure the Republican nomination for president, why can't Jimmy Kimmel run for vice president? The late-night TV host took the wraps off his first vice-presidential campaign ad this week and it expertly weaves together just about every substance-free cliche you can imagine into a short TV spot.

Jimmy shows off his happy family, knits a homemade American flag and shakes hands with factory workers while coating his hands in copious amounts of hand sanitizer. His stances on the issues are comically vague, as he informs us that "terror is bad... really bad!"

He also boasts about the time he bought a shirt in Cancun for 6 pesos when the original price was 8 pesos. At the end of the ad, Kimmel informs us that electing him will help us "make today yesterday's tomorrow again."

While this ad is obviously satire, it is still nice to see a candidate at least trying to run on a vaguely positive message instead of screaming about banning an entire religion from entering the country.
