Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) attacked a former staffer for leaking information for what he called a "hit piece" in New York Magazine that raised questions about his mental health.
The piece published Friday cited staffers "past and present [who] say they no longer recognize the man they once knew."
Fetterman called out "two or three anonymous disgruntled staffers saying just [absolutely] false things."
CNN's Manu Raju asked Fetterman about his mental health. After suffering a stroke and winning a big election, Fetterman admitted publicly that he has depression and sought treatment at Walter Reed.

Doctors said he has been doing "great" and complained that stories like this are "incredibly invasive" about his personal medical details, Fetterman said.
Fetterman also dispelled the claim that he's "bipolar," rather, he's got depression, which is treated with medication.
"None of these other things," he said. "It's like someone [who] was trying to accumulate my medical records and leak those things. That's part of this weird grudge of this hit piece."
The Pennsylvania Democrat told NBC News the same thing on Tuesday morning, but added that the publication was "very left."
Raju asked whether Fetterman intended to serve out his full term.
"Come on," Fetterman complained. "Of course. Obviously. Obviously. Everybody understands I was treated for depression."
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said he's standing by Fetterman, saying the lawmaker is an “all-star” who’s “doing a good job,” according to Punchbowl News reporter Max Cohen.
