Jorge Ramos calls O'Reilly out to his face: You and Hannity let Trump 'get away with everything'

Fusion and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos rejected Bill O'Reilly's argument on Wednesday that he has been critical of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump, Media Matters reported.

"You've talked to him so many times, and you and Sean Hannity let him get away with everything," Ramos said during a face-to-face interview.

"I don't let him get away with anything," O'Reilly insisted. "Look at the transcripts and everything he has done, I have asked him about it."

However, Media Matters has also noted several instances in which O'Reilly either minimizes Trump's anti-immigrant rhetoric or described him as an "avenger" being beset upon by people trying to exploit his campaign.

O'Reilly, who admitted that he supported Trump's proposal for a "wall" between the US-Mexico border, questioned Ramos' objectivity concerning the real estate magnate.

"We cannot allow racism and discrimination to be normal," Ramos said.

"But that's a subjective thing," said O'Reilly, who was quickly countered by Ramos.

"When you say that Mexican immigrants are criminals or rapists, that is -- for many people -- a racist remark," he said.

"But he didn't say all of them were," the Factor host responded.
