'She wants a ceasefire! No!' Kayleigh McEnany blasts Ilhan Omar over call to end Middle East violence

Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany on Sunday blasted Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) after the lawmaker called for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

Following terrorist attacks on Israel and retaliation against Gaza, Omar condemned Hamas's attacks, but she also called for an end to hostilities.

"Such senseless violence will only repeat the back-and-forth cycle we've seen, which we cannot allow to continue. We need to call for de-escalation and ceasefire. I will keep advocating for peace and justice throughout the Middle East," Omar said.

But on Sunday, McEnany demanded Gaza be punished for the actions of Hamas.

"OK, 9/11 happens in this country, thousands of Americans dead," McEnany said. "We went and got the Taliban. We went and got Osama bin Laden. She wants a ceasefire? No. Israel has to retaliate."

Israel has reportedly killed over 200 Palestinians following a surprise attack that took the lives of more than 600 Israelis. The retaliation against Palestinian militants in Gaza is expected to continue in the coming days.
