Kayleigh McEnany swipes at MAGA: 'We shouldn't let a white nationalist into Harvard'

Fox News contributor Kayleigh McEnany took a shot at Donald Trump's supporters on Wednesday by suggesting white nationalists should be banned from higher education.

The former White House press secretary made the remarks during a discussion on Fox News about anti-Semitism on college campuses. McEnany pointed to Harvard University President Dr. Claudine Gay's testimony before Congress.

"You know, you had a guest on your show, head of a Jewish coalition for Harvard College, who said, you know, she wants, she's proud of this university," McEnany told Fox News host Harris Faulkner. "She wants it to be a good university, and she wants to fix it. And I feel the same way."

"But look, we heard them say over and over again, freedom of speech, freedom of speech, freedom of speech," she continued. "Yes, you have a right to say what you want in this country if it is not a credible threat.

"But there are consequences. Society gets to assess that speech. We shouldn't let a white nationalist into Harvard. We shouldn't let someone yelling for genocide into Harvard. You don't have freedom of an Ivy League education. You don't have freedom of a cushy job at a big law firm or in finance."

During her tenure as White House press secretary, McEnany decried so-called cancel culture. At one point, she blamed liberals for canceling the children's show Paw Patrol, even though it had not been canceled.
