Attorney Ken Chesebro, the architect of the 2020 fake electors scheme that has resulted in criminal charges in multiple states, is not just cooperating with prosecutors in Georgia.
CNN reports that Chesebro is cooperating with prosecutors in Michigan and Wisconsin, which are two of the states where fake pro-Trump electors submitted paperwork falsely declaring themselves to be their states' legitimate representatives in the electoral college.
Michigan has already brought criminal charges against its state's fake electors. While Wisconsin has not yet brought any charges, the Wisconsin fake electors this week settled a civil lawsuit in which they acknowledged that President Joe Biden was the legitimate winner of the 2020 vote.
What's more, CNN reports that "Chesebro also recently testified to a grand jury in Nevada, where indictments against six fake electors were announced Wednesday by state prosecutors" and that he "has been in contact with prosecutors in Arizona, where he plans to sit for an interview as part of that state’s ongoing investigation into fake electors."
Chesebro pleaded guilty to a felony charge in Georgia earlier this year for his role in the fake electors scheme, and he is listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in special counsel Jack Smith's indictment of Trump in the federal election interference case.
