WATCH: The Lincoln Project blisters Kevin McCarthy for inciting insurrection by Trump supporters

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is the focus of a new video by The Lincoln Project that ties his comments about the big lie of election fraud to the fatal January 6th insurrection by Trump supporters at the U.S. Capitol.

The video features McCarthy's own words, spliced together was shocking scenes from the riots.

"President Trump won this election," McCarthy lied on Fox News. "So everyone who is listening, do not be quiet."

"Do not be silent about this," McCarthy urged. "We cannot allow this to happen before our very eyes."

The ad blames this violence on McCarthy's lies.

"Kevin McCarthy, you did this," the video charges.
