Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee and wife of Eric Trump, laughed on Fox News as she threatened more potential election-related lawsuits, this time over ensuring people in states devastated by natural disasters can cast their ballots.
Lara Trump joined host Laura Ingraham on Fox News on Tuesday night, with Ingraham saying many people worried at former President Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, that people in North Carolina and elsewhere may have trouble voting in the election.
"Does this mean that legal challenges could be in the offing filed by the Trump campaign or others to ensure that as they're dealing with all the other nightmares they're dealing with because of all these natural disasters, they are still able to vote? There are a lot of folks that came up to me in Butler that were very worried about that," said Ingraham. "And I just want to ensure that that's happening."

Lara Trump gave a candid response.
"Oh we've not been shy with the lawsuits," she joked. "I think we're at 109 right now at the RNC."
As Ingraham chuckled, Mrs. Trump continued, "Yes, if needed we will take legal action. We hope we don't have to go that path. We hope that they do the right thing and make sure that every person in North Carolina and other affected states have the opportunity to vote."
Voting rights advocate and lawyer Marc Elias has warned in recent months of the Republican Party's pre-election litigation efforts to fight rules ahead of the November vote.
In September, he told MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace that the party filed 13 lawsuits ahead of the 2020 election. This year, that number had climbed to over 80.
