Colorado Republican Lauren Boebert lost her cool Saturday when a CNN reporter asked her about Matt Gaetz.
Pressed by Manu Raju about the future of Speaker Kevin McCarthy in Congress – and about comments Florida Republican Gaetz made about ousting him – Boebert snapped.
Boebert clearly wasn’t happy about negotiations that eased the crisis over the spending bill Saturday when she spoke to Raju outside Congress.

"We should have forced them to come to the negotiating table and come to conference and hash out our differences with these four appropriation bills before there was another payday that was at risk of being missed," she said.
When asked if she supported firing McCarthy, she replied. "That isn't what we're talking about right now."
That’s when the reporter asked about Gaetz.
"Well, Matt Gaetz has said that if he (McCarthy) relies on Democratic votes, he will no longer be Speaker,” he said.
"I'm not Matt Gaetz,” Boebert snapped back.
“My name is Lauren Boebert. I represent Colorado's third district and my focus is getting the federal government funded as we ought to with 12 individual spending bills, like we promised everyone in January.

"Unfortunately, now we're at 45 days of the same bipartisan muscle memory of a straight up and down vote and 'whatever's in it is good with us.'"
The government shutdown was temporarily avoided Saturday after Republicans and Democrats negotiated a deal. It was opposed by the right-wing faction of the GOP.
Video of Boebert’s exchange was shared on X by the account Acyn.
