Legal expert rains holy hell on Mueller for closing investigation without interviewing Trump kids

An MSNBC legal analyst outlined the hypocrisy of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation during a panel discussion about President Donald Trump's kids.

"My kids cannot buy a pack of Skittles in this country without having — with the blase attitude that Ivanka Trump walks around this Earth with," Above the Law editor Elie Mystal told a panel on AM Joy Saturday. "I do not understand."

Mystal was stunned that the Trump kids still have not been indicted, or even investigated, by the special counsel.

"I don't understand how we've investigated these people for 22 months and nobody has asked these children a question?" the legal expert mused.

It's hypocritical, Mystal suggested, the way "criminal justice is applied to everybody else in this country" but not, apparently, to Donald Trump and his family.

"When you are the top head of an organization, people understand that, if they squeeze your children, that is a way to get you to tell the truth," he said. "And they put no, as far as I can tell, no pressure on these children."
