'Get real and move on': Marjorie Taylor Greene and Piers Morgan stuck in days-long feud
November 16, 2023
It has been two days since Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared on Piers Morgan's show in the U.K. They're still fighting.
Greene spoke to Morgan on Tuesday to pitch her book, where she tries to explain away some of her most bizarre statements, such as the "Jewish space laser" conspiracy and her ongoing belief that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump.
During the interview, Morgan challenged Greene's belief that thousands of illegal ballots came flooding into Georgia. Greene continued to claim that it was true, and she could prove it. Morgan asked her to, but all she could say was that there was an ongoing case in Fulton County.
There is an extensive racketeering case before Fulton County about the attempt to steal the 2020 election that has seen Trump and 18 codefendants accused of trying to overturn the election result.
Morgan praised the system of American governance and explained that the way it works is when there is a legal complaint, people go to court and fight it out. In that case, Trump went to court over 60 times and failed.
The fight has continued online as Greene attacked Morgan, saying that a judge ruled that there was reason enough to investigate whether Georgia voting machines were not secure.

The report she cited came from a case that hasn't been fully decided. Judge Amy Totenberg, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, agreed that the security problems could constitute a constitutional issue. Among the issues she cited as being a significant security breach was the Coffee County incident in which Republicans broke into the offices to hijack machines and pull data out of them.
In that case, it was supporters of Trump who made the machines have questionable security, and now Greene is claiming that same lack of security means Trump could have won the election.
Totenberg writes in the order published this week that the "2021 Coffee County election equipment breach … presents a substantial risk that … votes will not be counted as cast."
To Greene this was all proof of her conspiracy.
"I told 2020 Election Denier @piersmorgan that the 2020 election was rigged," posted Greene on social media.
She then quoted Piers Morgan: "It's not being proven in the courts!"
"Here’s your proof Piers," Green said.
Morgan shot back: "Hi Marjorie, you seem a little confused. I’m the election confirmer, you’re the denier. And no court, even those stacked with Republican judges, has ruled the 2020 election was rigged, stolen or anything other than legally conducted. So I suggest you get real and move on."
