Matthews calls out GOP Rep. for saying 'Democrat' Party

MSNBC's Chris Matthews took exception to Rep. Darrell Issa's use of the term "Democrat" to describe the Democratic Party. "I think the Democratic Party calls itself the 'Democratic Party.' Not the 'Democrat Party.' Do we have to do this every night? Why do people talk like this? Fighting words to get the name wrong?" complained Matthews.
"No," replied Issa.
Matthews continued. "They're the 'Democratic Party.' Call people what they call themselves and stop the Mickey Mouse here. Save it for the stump. Seriously."
Issa relented and agreed to use "Democratic" to describe the Republican's rival party. "Chris, you will always have my support that the Democrats are in the Democratic Party," said Issa.
