MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell disputed multiple reports that said U.S. District Court Judge Nina Y. Wang cautioned him to stop doing interviews and posting on social media about his defamation trial.
According to Colorado Politics, Lindell received a verbal warning from the judge on Wednesday after he spoke on his LindellTV network and posted on X about the trial.
"Any truth of that rumor, sir?" MAGA influencer Steve Bannon asked Lindell on Thursday on the War Room podcast.
"100% a lie, Steve," Lindell insisted. "I'm right in front of the judge that I can't be [texting]. I can't even use my phone. I can't even have it on in the courtroom."
"They put out that lie to try and attack, but there are restrictions since I'm also a witness in representing MyPillow, who also, remember, it was attacked with lawfare four years ago, everybody," he added. "So they don't want me telling details of the case outside the courtroom where we have LindellTV on site."
"And so that was a big lie that went out yesterday, but I'm here today."
Lindell encouraged viewers to support his defense by purchasing the products he was "liquidating."
"This is about free speech, and it's about the gateway to getting our elections secure," he asserted. "This is going to set a precedence [sic]."
Lindell's attorneys have reportedly told the jury they will not argue his election-rigging claims are true.
