Donald Trump is angry at someone in the White House over the recent scandal involving Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth sharing detailed military operations plans to a Signal group that unintentionally included a reporter, according to MSNBC.
The outlet's "Morning Joe" show began with a discussion of baseball before jumping into talks involving the sensitive Houthi attack plans that were made public by people at the Atlantic.
Co-host and former GOP lawmaker Joe Scarborough played videos of Trump saying "this can't happen again," yet calling the scandal a "witch hunt." He then asked journalist Jonathan Lemire to share his own reporting.

"There were a couple of tells there, one which was this was a mistake. This can never happen again. That's a tell. But there was another tell in there that that you said he usually says when you know he's really angry at somebody inside the White House," Scarborough said to Lemire, prompting him to continue.
"It's something that has covered Donald Trump for a long time now. You know, when he distances himself from something -- I had nothing to do with it, I didn't know about that -- that's a tell," Lemire said. "And the people around him who have confirmed this in the past were like, that means he's angry at something and somebody, putting responsibility elsewhere. I didn't have anything to do with this. This is about somebody else."
