Newsmax host Katrina Szish was corrected by co-host Bob Sellers on Tuesday after she compared the "pathology" of Elizabeth Holmes to liberal billionaire George Soros.
Szish mentioned Soros during an in-studio discussion about Holmes reporting to jail for her 11-year sentence.
"She looks like — she sounds like someone who is always going to be looking for her next kind of crime," the host opined. "I think of George Soros. I think of Bernie Madoff."
"Well, George Soros is not a crook," Sellers interrupted. "Bernie Madoff was a crook. You may not like his politics."
"We don't know yet if George Soros was a crook," Szish replied. "I'm talking about a pathology, whether it's of lying, whether it's of crime."
Holmes, the founder of Theranos, was convicted of four counts of wire fraud. Soros has no apparent relationship with Holmes. He was not accused of wire fraud and is not facing jail time in the United States.
