Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem Thursday afternoon press conference was quickly interrupted as Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) tried to crash it.
The incident happened just mere seconds after Noem started talking.
“I am Senator Padilla”, he said as a plain-clothed officer attempted to push him out of the room.
“I have a question for the secretary,” he said as a second officer grabbed him. Padilla then continued to speak, “Because the fact of the matter is half a dozen criminals that are rotating on your ...”
Three officers then pushed Padilla out of the room and grabbed his arms.
“Hands off!” Padilla yelled as the officers tried to take him further away from Noem.
Padilla then grew quite as he was escorted out.
The moment was captured by Bill Melugin who wrote on X, "BREAKING: California Democratic Senator @AlexPadilla4CA just crashed DHS Secretary Noem’s press conference in LA and was forcibly removed.”
