NRA-TV smears Women's March participants by blaming them for violence from an entirely different day

The National Rifle Association's NRA-TV smeared protesters from the January 21st by blaming them for vandalism and property damage that took place on Inauguration Day, January 20 -- the day before the Women's March even took place.

Media Matters reported that commentator Bill Whittle and guest Chuck Holton of the Christian Broadcasting Network said an upcoming Women's March on the NRA scheduled for July 14 will "certainly not be peaceful."

"Well, they’re certainly not peaceful. And they’re certainly not even protests. What they are is sort of temper tantrums by spoiled children, is the best way I can describe them," Holton said before going on to describe the vandalism he witnessed on Inauguration Day by anti-Trump protesters.

An estimated 260 people were arrested in violent protests on Inauguration Day in Washington, D.C., whereas no protesters were arrested on Saturday. By all accounts the marches took place without incident, calmly and without violence.

The July 14 protest comes in response to a propaganda ad starring right-wing radio host and former Breitbart.com staffer Dana Loesch and produced by the NRA. Critics say the video against anyone who deviates from the right-wing agenda.

Backlash against the ad has put Loesch on the defensive, calling the protesters who intend to march on July 14 "fake feminists" because they don't believe that buying a firearm is the key to women's empowerment.
