NY police union hopes for mass shooting at Brooklyn College after students complain about cops in bathrooms
November 21, 2017
Responding to an erroneous report in the New York Post that students at Brooklyn College want cops banned from the campus, a union representing the cops invoked mass shootings and terrorism saying students at the school should "get what they ask for."
According to Law & Crime, the Sergeants Benevolent Association responded the Post story, by tweeting "Brooklyn College doesn’t want police using campus bathrooms https://nyp.st/2AZqpFP via @nypmetro another anti police campus with no common sense. Active shooters, acts of terrorism on campuses and now remove the police. Maybe it's time people get what they ask for."
The report states that the actual story is only related to students who are unhappy that police officers use the campus restrooms and have called for a ban.
The report notes that Brooklyn College has responded to the erroneous story, issuing a statement reading: "Brooklyn College offers the use of our facilities to the NYPD and other public servants..as a courtesy.
