1-866-OUR-VOTE works

A few days ago, a friend of mine decided to check out his polling place on a whim. He discovered it was inside a gated community. So he asked the guard what the plan was for making sure the gates were open all day. The guard didn't have a clue, which alarmed my friend, and he called me. I referred him to 866-OUR-VOTE, and they gave him a case file, told him that the situation was unusual, and told him that if the gates aren't open come this morning, to call back and they'll have a legal team out immediately. This wasn't in Texas, which is usually super laid back, believe it or not.

If you see any irregularities that would prevent people from voting, give them a call.
