Doubly awesome

Update II: This is mildly relevant and totally awesome.
Confession: I'm wearing my pajamas right now. But mostly because I'm making a speech tonight at St. Edward's, and I don't want to get dressed for it yet.
Update: Ah, the story might not be discredited, even though one source has been.
The story about Sarah Palin not knowing that Africa is a continent is a hoax. I got taken in, and apologize. What I find interesting about this is that Palin, in her "record correcting" interviews, pushed back against this hoax with the same tone and force as she did against ones that hit closer to home, regarding the clothes that the RNC bought her. I don't know what that means, but it's interesting.
The NY Times shifts most of the blame onto the blogs for the hoax, even though I first heard it on the mainstream media and didn't report on it until I got it from the mainstream media. Not their fault for sharing; our fault for listening. Got it.
