The self-described "garbage men of pollsters" took a victory lap Friday night on Fox News and boasted that they picked the battleground states correctly in the 2024 election, over other prominent industry experts.
Matt Towery, co-founder of the polling site InsiderAdvantage, and Robert Cahaly, founder of Trafalgar Group, joined Sean Hannity on his show to gloat about their polls in the aftermath of the presidential election.
"So many of America's major polling organizations got it wrong so often," said Hannity, calling out renowned pollster Ann Selzer's poll that ended up being off by 16 points in Vice President Kamala Harris' favor. NPR and Marist also had Harris winning the popular vote by four points — off by seven as of Friday.
"Frankly, most polling companies should be ashamed of themselves," said Hannity. "They got it wrong again."
However, he said, Towery proved "deadly accurate" in the presidential election — coming within a 1.4 points of current results in Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Cahaly, meanwhile, was within 1 point in Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and 2 points in Wisconsin.
After Hannity asked why Nate Silver doesn't mention the duo anymore, Towery said they've been "treated like the garbage men of pollsters."
"We're never considered the quality," he said, lamenting that such positive characterizations often go to competitors such as The New York Times.
"Well guess what? Three times in a row we've gotten this thing closer than anyone," said Towery, adding the two caught what he called the "turnaround" in the race after the second Trump assassination plot.
Cahaly jabbed his competitors, saying with a laugh, "I'm still trying to find these hidden Kamala voters. I don't know where they are. Or maybe they're confused by what the polls are."
He slammed "quality" competitors saying they're in their "little clubs" — "And there's no accountability."
"You look at that Ann Selzer poll did at the last minute — it gave the whole country, all the Trump people heartburn. The other side got so excited," he said, adding: "It was all nonsense."
