Pompeo says US too often absent from central Europe

The United States should not let Russian President Vladimir Putin “drive a wedge between friends and NATO”, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Monday.
Speaking in the Hungarian capital Budapest, Pompeo also said the United States should be more engaged in the region.
