June 05, 2012
Capitol Police removed a man from the U.S. Senate on Tuesday after he began shouting that abortion was a sin, according to the Associated Press.
"Stop Obama," the man yelled. "Three thousand babies die every single day! Abortion! Abortion! The shedding of innocent blood! [Inaudible.] Thank you John McCain. Abortion is a sin!"
Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) was discussing leaks of classified information before the man, who was identified as Rives Grogan, began shouting.
"I guess I’ll take a compliment where I can get it," McCain joked.
Grogan was charged with disruption of Congress.
