Reporter for pro-Trump site Gateway Pundit arrested for allegedly accosting a woman at white supremacist speech

An alt-right provocateur was arrested for allegedly assaulting a student at an "It's OK to be White" speech at the University of Connecticut.

Lucian B Wintrich, the White House correspondent for The Gateway Pundit, was captured on video appearing to assault a female student.

The speech was sponsored by the school's College Republicans chapter.

Police released a smoke canister to clear the area in the aftermath of the alleged assault.
