Researcher explains 3D 'cell printer' that can create organs

A team at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, led by Dr. Anthony Atala, has successfully grown transplantable organs in a lab. The researchers developed a 3D printer that uses living cells taken from a patient to output layers of tissue that can form different organs.
