REVEALED: Longtime Trump associate floated this bizarre ulterior motive for Moscow Tower

Felix Sater, a longtime Trump associate with documented ties to the Russian mob, sent a strange email to Trump attorney Michael Cohen in October 2015 in which he argued building a Trump Tower in Moscow would help the cause of world peace.

Sater -- who had also emailed Cohen that building Trump Tower Moscow would help "our boy... become president of the USA" -- sent Cohen an email on October 13, 2015, in which he stressed the potential geopolitical implications of building a massive Trump-branded property at the heart of Russia's capital.

Specifically, Sater suggested to Cohen that building Trump Tower Moscow could "possibly fix relations between the countries by showing everyone that commerce and business are much better and more practical than politics."

Cohen then suggested that he would use his contacts within the Kremlin to get Russian President Vladimir Putin to push a similar message that Trump Tower Moscow marked a new beginning for business dealings between the U.S. and Russia.

"Help world peace and make a lot of money," Sater wrote at the end of his pitch.

The emphasis on "world peace" is particularly relevant because, this past January, Sater gave Cohen a series of documents that were to be delivered to then-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and that contained a Russian plan to bring about "world peace."

Cohen claims that he never got a chance to deliver the documents to Flynn before the former national security adviser was fired, although he said he was interested in the plan because "who doesn't want world peace?"
