RNC's Kayleigh McEnany casts doubt on Jordan sex abuse accusations -- because investigators emailed him at wrong address

Kayleigh McEnany, the spokesperson for the RNC, took her turn at at defending embattled Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on MSNBC on Saturday afternoon, casting doubt on his culpability in not reporting sexual assault on athletes at Ohio State by noting the schools lawyers emailed questions to him at an out of date email address.

Speaking with host Alex Witt, McEnany questioned the timing of multiple accusers coming forward accusing Jordan who served as an assistant wrestling coach at the school during the time the alleged assaults by school doctor Richard Strauss occurred.

"Four of the accusers have spoken with NBC News. and the Wall Street Journal has spoken with a fifth," Witt began. "Do you think the allegations should be taken seriously? Why would the implication of Rep. Jim Jordan say all of them know the truth? Why would they all be lying?"

"Well, because he knows the truth, which is that he did not know about the allegations, and if he did, he would have come out immediately to try to resolve this egregious charge, this egregious issue," McEnany said speaking for Jordan before casting aspersions on his accusers. "So he has flat out denied this. And it's worth pointing out some of the real, irregularities here which Congressman Jordan went on to point to.  Two of the accusers have some pretty colored histories. one served prison time for a fraud scheme involving millions of dollars. another is the subject of several lawsuits."

"And the firm investigating this, Perkins Cole, found the Democratic-funded dossier," she added. "They say they reached out to Congressman Jordan to get an interview, when, in fact, they reached out to an e-mail address that didn't exist anymore."

"Pretty convenient that they could find the dossier , but they couldn't find the email address," she smirked while speaking of the law firm that was hired by Ohio State to investigate.
