A lawyer for friend and advisor to President Donald Trump, Roger Stone, revealed that he handed over the name of the intermediary between him and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
According to CNN, Stone's attorney explained he "has complied with the [Congressional] committee's requests. No further statement will be issued."
The House intelligence panel's Russia investigation pledged to subpoena Stone if the information was not turned over. Stone has been working with Rep. Bob Barr to avoid being subpoenaed by Congress, according to reports. Barr is the Republican congressman who lead the impeachment of Bill Clinton.
"I'm not going to burn somebody I spoke to off the record," Stone said. "If he releases me, if he allows me to release it, I would be happy to give it to the committee. I'm actually going to try to do that."
