Former Georgia election worker Ruby Freeman lashed out at Donald Trump on Wednesday in a defamation trial against Rudy Giuliani.
On the third day of Giuliani's trial, Freeman took the stand to testify to the harassment she received after the former New York mayor made her — and her daughter, Shaye Moss — the focus of a campaign to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
Following the 2020 election, Giuliani claimed Freeman and Moss had conspired to rig the vote.
Attorneys for Freeman played audio of a phone call in which Trump claimed she cheated while counting votes.
Freeman said she preferred to refer to Trump as "the former president."

"I just felt like, 'Really?'" Freeman recalled. "This is the former president talking about me? Me? How mean. How evil. I just was devastated. Me? I didn't do nothing. It just made me feel … you don't care that I'm a real person."
"He didn't know what he was talking about, really," she added. "He had no clue what he was talking about. He was just trying to put a name to somebody stealing ballots, which was totally a lie."
Giuliani faces up to $43 million in damages after a judge found him liable for defaming Freeman and Moss.
