Trump associate Rudy Giuliani was ordered to pay election workers he defamed more than $100 million, but they will have to "get in line" with creditors in order to collect, a former federal prosecutor said.
Joyce Vance appeared on MSNBC's The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle, where she was asked how Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Shay Moss, will go about collecting the $148 million owed to them. A judge ordered an expedited schedule for that payment on Wednesday.
But it's not always that simple, according to Vance.
"How do they get him to actually pay?" the host asked.

Vance responded that Giuliani "has a lot of folks who he owes money, and those folks will all get in line to try to get his assets."
The big question, Vance says, is "how long will it take Giuliani to file for bankruptcy, because that seems to be where he will have to head to try and dispose of his debt."
"He won't have the ability to pay them off. And that means these two women will have to get in line with other creditors and that, I think, is an unfortunate reality in the situation," she said. "They likely will never see $148 million unless Giuliani has some crazy offshore assets that are hidden that they're able to uncover."
