Giuliani tells Mar-a-Lago pals he lives in a 'nightmare world' after defamation ruling

America's Mayor is moaning to Mar-a-Lago cohorts that he's stuck in a "nightmare world" after a defamation ruling forced him to declare bankruptcy, according to a new report.
Rudy Giuliani said he "wakes up every day and can't believe it's real," the New York Post's Page Six reported Monday.
Former President Donald Trump's onetime attorney, who previously served as New York City's mayor, was found liable last year for defaming Georgia mother-daughter election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss and ordered to pay $148 million in damages.
The pair blamed Giuliani for spreading conspiracy theories peddled by Trump and his operatives that they were padding votes for President Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election count, court records show.
Giuliani filed for bankruptcy in December and says creditors have been swarming his assets — even eyeing Giuliani's prized Palm Beach condo — ever since.
The former mayor was seen rubbing shoulders with the likes of former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik for a Mar-a-Lago event to bolster support in the run of Arizona Republican congressional candidate Abe Hamadeh, according to Page Six's anonymous sources.
One eyewitness told the outlet that during the Hamadeh event, Giuliani stopped briefly at the table where the former president was seated.
According to the outlet, there have been “nonstop fundraisers” held at Mar-a-Lago.
There have reportedly been “two or three different ones” happening “on some nights," giving the club a reputation of becoming "the epicenter for Republican candidates collecting money.”
Giuliani claims Trump's 2020 presidential campaign and the Republican National Committee still owes him $2 million in outstanding legal fees.
The Committee of Unsecured Creditors, a group that represents people trying to recover cash from the former New York City mayor, is reportedly “discussing” demanding that Giuliani sue Trump over old debts.
The Rudy Giuliani Freedom Fund sent out a request for donations to support the former mayor in which it claimed forces were at work to destroy him.
"The Deep State, Crooked Joe's accomplices, and the Radical Left have made it their missions to DESTROY an innocent man and JAIL Rudy for LIFE," it reads. "But with YOUR sustained support, our fight for Rudy's freedom and justice carries on. YOU are truly Rudy's best hope."
