Rudy Giuliani may have damaged his legal case after jurors heard that he continued disseminating falsehoods about the 2020 presidential election during his defamation trial.
U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell warned earlier on Tuesday that Giuliani may have again defamed election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss with comments he made after the first day of trial. Howell has already found Giuliani liable for claiming the election workers rigged the 2020 presidential election for then-President Donald Trump.
"Was Mr. Giuliani just playing for the cameras?" Howell asked on Tuesday morning.
By Tuesday afternoon, the judge had allowed the jury to hear evidence of Giuliani's newest remarks.

"Last night after court, Mr. Giuliani exited the courtroom and told a reporter that he does not regret anything he has done to us because he's telling the truth that we changed votes," Moss testified.
She was asked how she had heard about Giuliani's remarks.
"When we walked into our hotel, there was a huge TV, it was right there. It was on the TV. I tried not to look," she recalled.
"It just feels like I am trapped under somebody's boot," she added. "It feels like I'm in a dark place, and I'm surrounded by the lies and conspiracies. Like I'm surrounded by a swamp of loneliness and sadness and negativity."
