Santa tells Ryan he'll get 'coal' if he keeps tax cuts for the wealthy

In a short bit of tax reform activism, a new liberal activist group calling itself "The Action" sends Santa Clause to confront Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) on Capitol Hill, telling him he's got a lump of coal coming this Christmas if he doesn't shape up.

"I just want to give you a head's up," Santa tells Ryan in the video. "Two weeks. You've got coal on the list, my friend."

Ryan didn't seem interested in talking. "I have people waiting for me in my office. I gotta get going. Sorry."

The group, a loose coalition of liberal activists and organizations working to end the Bush tax cuts for America's wealthy, hasn't been around for long but they've already got a host of events going on around the country, all in hopes of pressuring Congress to save the tax cuts for 98 percent of Americans.

It's not clear whether Santa will be haunting any other Republican lawmakers this Christmas, but chances are Ryan won't forget the odd encounter any time soon.
