Sarah Sanders cuts off reporter after she asks when Cohen was fired by Trump: ‘Ask the same question over and over’

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders on Thursday declined to say if she knew when Michael Cohen stopped being President Donald Trump's personal attorney.

At Thursday's White House briefing, Sanders was asked about Cohen's legal work for the president.

"I know we've asked this a few times," one White House correspondent noted before she was interrupted by the press secretary.

"That's what we do here," Sanders quipped. "Ask the same question over and over."

"Can you say yet when Michael Cohen stopped being the president's personal lawyer?" the correspondent wondered.

"I'm not going to get into anything on that matter," Sanders smiled. "You'd have to reach out to the president's outside counsel.

"You're still not able to answer," the correspondent noted, but Sanders cut her off and moved to the next reporter.

The question at Thursday's briefing came a month after Trump told Fox News that Cohen was representing him in the Stormy Daniels case.
