Sarah Sanders should be ‘extremely concerned’ for being ‘complicit’ in Trump’s attempt to cover-up Cohen scandal: CNN guest

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen pled guilty to campaign finance violations, tax and bank fraud. He'll likely serve time in jail.

As Cohen appeared before a federal judge, political analysts wondered about other White House staffers' complicity in covering up the president's scandals.

"It wasn't just President Trump that lied about this. The entire orbit of the White House was involved in this intricate lie," CNN contributor Symone Sanders said.

She pointed out that if she were in Sarah Huckabee Sanders' position, she would be very alarmed right now.

"So if I'm the press secretary, I'm extremely concerned about all of the lies that I've been complicit in telling," she noted.
