Senate Intelligence staff have questions for Jared Kushner and they want answers by next week

Senior White House staffer and son-in-law to President Donald Trump Jared Kushner is scheduled to meet within the next two weeks with staff members for the Senate Intelligence Committee for a fact-finding inquiry ahead of a possible round of questioning before the committee.

Talking Points Memo said that NBC reported the news Thursday evening in the wake of testimony by former FBI Director James Comey for the committee.

The Intelligence Committee is deep into its investigation into whether Pres. Trump's campaign colluded with Russian operatives to meddle in the outcome of the 2016 election. Kushner has for failing to disclose his meetings with Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak.

Kushner's meetings with a Russian bank have also come under fire. The Vnesheconombank Bank has deep ties to the Kremlin, Russian Pres. Putin and that country's wealthy oligarch class.
