'Seriously?': Keith Olbermann ridicules Trump for having to ask Comey if he had Russian hooker tapes

After a weekend to reflect upon the written and oral testimony from fired FBI Director James Comey, Keith Olbermann has released a new episode of his GQ show focusing on Donald Trump's fixation over Russian hookers.

"On the morning of March 30, the President called me at the FBI. He described the Russia investigation as 'a cloud' that was impairing his ability to act on behalf of the country," Comey testified last Thursday.

President Trump, "said he had nothing to do with Russia, had not been involved with hookers in Russia, and had always assumed he was being recorded when in Russia."

Olbermann explained how he perceived Trump to have, "an obsession within an obsession" on the topic of the Christopher Steele dossier and Russian hookers.

"Seriously?" Olbermann wondered out loud. "Even in the cascading madness of the seven months since the election, is this not just the craziest thing ever attributed to any President of the United States, but the craziest choice of topics ever raised by an President of the United State?"

The veteran broadcaster explained, "it's not just that there's something wrong here, there's something wronger here."

"What's hidden within the Steele dossier that could conceivably be more damaging to Trump than impeachment or evidence of treason or both?" Olbermann questioned. "What could it contain that on January 27 and March 30 and June 7, the president and then one of his attorneys are seemingly more concerned with it than anything else?"

BBC Washington correspondent Paul Wood reported in January, "there was allegedly more than one tape, not just video, but audio as well, on more than one date, in more than one place, in both Moscow and St. Petersburg.”

Olbermann then suggested what might soon join the lexicon as presidential lore.

"Move over Richard Nixon, before all this ends, 'I am not a crook' may be replaced in presidential lore with, 'I am not a john."
