Seth Meyers drags Trump for ignoring advisers' warnings in call to Putin: 'All-caps is his native tongue!’

“Late Night” host Seth Meyers on Wednesday ripped Donald Trump over reports he ignored his national security advisers’ warning not to congratulate Putin (reportedly written in all-caps)—joking all-caps “is Donald Trump’s native tongue.”

“What’s amazing is not only did Trump ignore the advice, he went 180 degrees in the other direction,” Meyers explained. “They told him not to congratulate Putin and he invited Putin to a get-together.”

“It’s like if your wife says, ‘Your buddy Carl creeps me out, I don’t want him hanging around here anymore,’ and you say, ‘Okay, totally got it, get it, problem solved: asked him to move in with us.'" Meyers said.
