Seth Meyers jokes that Trump is 'building walls in random cities' after claiming wall worked in a city nowhere near border

On Thursday, Late Night host Seth Meyers mocked President Donald Trump for giving a false example of a border wall that works.

Little progress has been made to end the government shutdown and negotiations remain in a stalemate. While talking to reporters, Trump said that San Antiono is a great example of where walls have been built and work.

"They go from one the most unsafe cities in the country to the safest immediately," Trump said.

Meyers ridiculed Trump because the city is actually 150 miles from the nearest border.

"Either he is confusing it with San Diego, or is just putting walls in random cities now," he joked.
