Seth Meyers sounds off on Trump's self-deprecating joke: 'It's only funny if everyone agrees he sucks'

Late Night host Seth Meyers mocked President Donald Trump for joking about himself during a Monday press conference.

When asked about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh drinking habits, Trump couldn’t comment because he never has drunk alcohol before.

"I'm not a drinker. I can honestly say I never had a beer in my life. It's one of my only good traits," Trump said. "I never had a glass of alcohol. I never had alcohol, for whatever reason."

Trump added, "Can you imagine if I had? What a mess I would be. I would be the world's worst. I never drank, Ok?"

Meyers joked that Trump was admitting he sucked.

"What's amazing about that joke is inherent in the premise is Trump already admitting that he sucks. That joke doesn't work if everyone thinks Trump is a great president."

"He is basically saying, If you think I'm an a**hole now, imagine if I had a few beers ... I'll be a nightmare." Meyers said.
