Special needs student records shocking audio of abusive principal after ‘no one believes’ his claims

A Pennsylvania high school principal was placed on leave after a recording surfaced in which he is heard threatening a 14-year-old special needs student, Argus-Press reports.

The student alleged that the principal threatened him on multiple occasions and used vulgar language against him; however, reportedly no one believed him when he came forward about the abuse.

Now his attorney Todd Hollis and his mother want the principal to be fired. Hollis said, "The child felt he had to tape it in order to get credibility. No one believed that the principal would or could do such a thing."

In the recording, which was released by KDKA Woodland Hills High School principal Kevin Murray can be heard shouting "I’ll punch you right in your face, dude."

The recording continued, "I'm gonna f*cking punch you in your face ... Man to man, bro. I don't give a f*ck if you're 14 years old."

The principal then threatened the student against taking legal action, stating that if they ever went to court, "It's your word versus mine and mine wins every time."

The student recorded the incident back in April, though he alleges that there have been multiple other incidents involving the principal.

"Maybe the principal should be terminated," the boy's attorney said. "Monetary isn’t the primary goal, but certainly the family wants to be compensated for the threats this principal made to this child."

According to Pennsylvania law, recording an individual without their knowledge is illegal. However, Hollis is looking into the "legalities behind that" while determining how to move forward.
