'I’m gonna stab your kid': Stranger knifes mom after threatening 3-year-old in a stroller

A stranger in a blonde wig threatened a toddler in a stroller and then repeatedly stabbed her mother in an attack that took place in broad daylight in Brooklyn, the New York Daily News reported.

The mother, 34, was pushing her 3-year-old daughter when a woman passed by who was wearing a blonde wig. The woman started yelling at the mom and threatened to harm the child, the News reported.

"Why are you looking at me?” the attacker said, according to the News. “I’m gonna stab your kid!”

When the mother tried to get between the suspect and her child, the suspect pulled a knife and stabbed the mother in the chest and in the legs before fleeing on foot.

The mother was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition. The child was not injured.

The attack happened at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The suspect is still at large.
