Stephen Miller unloads shocking threat Dems may face 'seditious conspiracy' charges

Stephen Miller, the deputy chief of staff for policy in President Donald Trump’s administration, issued an ominous threat Friday that Gov J.B. Pritzker could face arrest for "seditious conspiracy."

Miller made the remarkable comment during a Friday interview with Fox News' Will Cain.

"J.B. Pritzker could be arrested. Let's talk about your willingness and under what federal authority you would arrest a sitting governor," said Cain.

Cain said he understands the Constitution's Supremacy Clause, as well as laws against interfering with federal officers.

"Tell me how it works, how he would make himself susceptible to being arrested," said Cain.

Miller noted his response applies to all people operating in an official capacity who "conspire or engage in activity that unlawfully impedes federal law enforcement conducting their duties."

He threatened that any official, including Pritzker, may be engaged in criminal activity if they participate in what he referred to as a "criminal conspiracy" to obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws or to illegally instruct police or officials to interfere with or even arrest Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.

The Trump aide then proceeded to list a handful of charges that could be levied on such officials, including obstructing justice, harboring illegal aliens, and impeding the enforcement of immigration laws. More serious charges could also apply, he warned.

"Then as you get up the scale of behavior, you obviously get into seditious conspiracy charges depending on the conduct, and many other offenses," he said. "It depends on the action, it depends on the conduct, it depends on what is taking place."

Miller then proclaimed that all ICE officers have federal immunity in the conduct of their duties.

"And anybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop or obstruct you is committing a felony," he concluded.
