Hollywood director shames Trump for on-set demands including having 'ego booster'
November 27, 2023
Director and actor Taika Waititi used his appearance on a recent podcast to dish on his experience working with Donald Trump on a 2012 NBC Super Bowl featurette entitled “Brotherhood of Man," The Daily Beast reported.
And he doesn't hold back on shaming the former president for his demands.
Speaking on the Smartless podcast, Waititi says he directed Trump on the project and that the former president had a "list of demands," including having an assistant on hand who would do his makeup while also whispering admiration to him.
“He had a sort of like a make-up person who was also his ego booster," he said.
"So she would like, touch him up and say ‘Oh Mr. Trump, oh Mr. Trump, you look fantastic.’”

Waititi also said that Trump demanded that the camera be adjusted to a certain angle that would make him look thinner, and required that the "pantone of orange" makeup he wears was also kept up.
