A 10-term incumbent congressman in Massachusetts conceded to a progressive candidate during the state's Democratic primaries Tuesday night.
TheĀ Washington Post reported thatĀ Rep. Michael Capuano (D-MA) conceded to Boston City Councilwoman Ayanna Pressley after polls closed in the state.
Politico's Lauren Dezenski noted on Twitter that the congressman conceded when only a small percentage of precincts were reporting their results to the Associated Press.
